Genesis Therapeutic Services, LLC is a Maryland-based mental health practice offering virtual individual, family, and group therapy. We specialize in anxiety, depression, anger management, stress management, relationship concerns, and self-esteem. Using an eclectic, personalized approach, we recognize that every individual and challenge is unique. Our goal is to provide compassionate, supportive care that empowers clients to heal, grow, and create lasting positive change.
Meet the Team

Owner/ Clinical Director
Andrea McLean, LCPC, NCC
Andrea McLean is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) licensed in Maryland and nationally certified. She earned both her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bowie State University. Andrea has extensive experience providing therapy in residential, educational, and clinical settings, working with individuals across the lifespan. She specializes in individual, family, and group counseling, with a particular passion for supporting children and adolescents. Her areas of expertise include anger management, stress management, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and substance use issues.
Andrea uses an eclectic, client-centered approach, recognizing that every individual and every challenge is unique. She is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth.
Outside of her clinical practice, Andrea enjoys mentoring, participating in community events, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Therapist
Jada Alexander, LGPC
Jada Alexander is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the state of Maryland. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Counseling from Capella University. Jada has experience providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults in both school-based and outpatient settings. She works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem challenges, ADHD-related concerns, life transitions, and family conflict. Jada believes that every client deserves a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel heard and understood. She utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based interventions to help clients develop healthy coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and reach their personal goals. Jada is passionate about empowering individuals to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and become the healthiest version of themselves.

Consist of two or more family members. Treatment is designed to help with issues that specifically affect family's mental health and functioning.
We can help individual family members build stronger relationships, improve communication, and manage conflicts within the family system.
